Cornwall is home to some amazing dog friendly breweries.

Here are some that get our paws of approval...

Is there anything better than that well earned first sip of beer after a day out with the dog exploring  Cornwall’s amazing beaches, attractions or coastal paths?

We don’t think so, and alongside the numeruous dog friendly pubs and bars scattered across Cornwall, there is also a growing number of dog friendly breweries that not only serve great and innovative beer, but food as well.

Partridge has sniffed out some of her favourites to help you select where your next tipple may come from.

Verdant Brewing Co - Penryn / Falmouth

Interior of Verdant Brewing Co

Verdant Brewing Co are a firm favourite of Greig, co-founder, who will always look for an excuse to visit when in the area.

Set-up in 2014, Verdant are an independent brewing company that focus on hoppy beers and IPAs.

Not only are their beers superb (Lightbulb & Headband being flagship offerings) but the names given to each beer creation is enough to make you want to try them… Fruit Car Sight Exhibition / Whale Sharks / Examine Our Allocations and Neal Gets Things Done, to name a few.

The dog friendly taproom is located at their Penryn headquarters where you can pick up fresh cans, merchandise or sit-in and enjoy some beers and pizza.

They have also recently open The Seafood Bar in Falmouth that specialises in small plates and 8 lines of Verdant beers.

Further afield, but still in Cornwall, they have just taken over for the summer season, Schooners, in St Agnes – A dream location right next to the beach. Or if you are in Newquay, The Sink Inn is serving Verdant on draft.

Bluntrock Brewery - Rock

Bluntrock Brewery operates out of converted shipping containers just outside of Rock in North Cornwall.

Brewing began in 2021 and all beers are designed and sold on site. The taproom serves 8 lines of fresh brews, created in the nanobrewery only meters away.

If fresh, small-batch beers are for you, the Bluntrock is definitely worth a visit. They are very dog friendly and regularly put on music and street food events as well.
