The relaxed beachside hideaway sits a stone’s throw from the hip town of Falmouth, south Cornwall, with views across to the tidal sands of Maenporth Beach, meaning that dining alfresco on the elevated terrace couldn’t get any dreamier.
Honing in on its unrivalled position, nestled above the golden sandy beach, the restaurant’s glass-fronted and open-air terrace, offers breathtaking views across the Roseland Heritage Coast, Pendennis Castle and St Anthony Lighthouse.
With a revamped kitchen and development of an entirely new menu, Michael adds a little culinary magic to a jaw-grabbing spot.
Expect a relaxed and informal approach with a flexible dining experience, serving morning coffee, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner with menus designed to attract families, locals and tourists visiting the area, whilst championing the best of the Cornish Produce. Kick back to a backdrop of blues and savour the freshest locally sourced Cornish produce and ingredients, prepared with an unmistakable award-winning style.
The Glasshouse and outdoor terrace are available for our canine friends to enjoy.
Treat your salty sea dog to a beach-to-beach coastal route, stretching 1,7 miles from Swanpool beach to Maenporth. The route offers a brilliant jaunt for the winter months (October-Easter) when dogs are allowed to roam freely on both beaches.
Lunch at The Cove Maenporth was superb, an absolute nose-to-tail treat for us four-legs. The glasshouse is dog friendly during the day and night, offering an ideal spot with pawsome sea views. Ideal to cosy up at my humans heels and try some of Michael’s top-notch grub! Maenporth beach provides a great walkies spot, to either start or finish the day. Paws crossed we return soon!
