Celebrating 50 years of natural
pawsome doggie dinners and treats!

Back in April we launched a giveaway competition to celebrate our friends at Forthglade’s 50th birthday, and the launch of their limited-edition birthday meal – consisting of 75% fish that’s been landed in Devon. The nutritiously yummy grain free meal contains Sardines and Haddock with potato and broccoli and is sure to set tails wagging across the country. Our lucky winner was Bonnie, a two-year-old Golden Retriever from Cheshire. We were pleased to hear that Bonnie couldn’t get enough of her nutritious meals.

Why we love it...

Not only does the meal contain 75% fish landed locally in the South West, it’s also packed full of vitamins, minerals and botanicals, including camomile, parsley, rosemary and nettle.

This pawesome new recipe also offers a great source of protein, nutrients and natural oils. Like all of Forthglade’s dinners for dogs, it’s free from junk or fillers and contains everything a dog needs to stay happy and healthy. It’s also grain free, making it the perfect choice for dogs with sensitive tummies, like Partridge, our CEO.

It’s now a firm favourite with Partridge – setting her tail into overdrive each time she gets a whiff of that fresh fish. We’re sure this recipe will get a paw of approval from your canine companions too!

50 for 50 – The New Charity Initiative from Forthglade

What better way to celebrate 50 years of making natural pet food than by recognising the great work achieved by so many dedicated charities across the UK that care for dogs. To mark their milestone birthday Forthglade have launched a ’50 for 50′ campaign; donating 50,000 trays of food to 50 deserving charities.

Each month, for five months, the Devonian dogs lovers will be donating 10,000 trays to ten deserving charities voted for by you.

Each of the charities are listed on their website and provide incredible care to our canine companions, from supporting rehoming of dogs to training assistance dogs. Visit www.forthglade.com to view T&C’s and help donate delicious Devon made dinners to four-legged friends to help keep them happy and healthy and put the wag back in their tails.

Forthglade x National Trust

Forthglade have also teamed up with the National Trust on a four-year ‘Dog’s Welcome’ project, the aim being to highlight all of the beautiful dog friendly National Trust-owned spaces, to bring you and your dog a healthy balance in life and time out.

Over the next three-years the project will put developments in place so that dog owners can enjoy a great day out with their four-legged friends, whilst helping to protect the beautiful spaces that the National Trust care for. A minimum of £60,000 will be contributed from sales of the co-branded National Trust range, to directly support the Trust’s conservation work.
